Feilding Is A Good Town To Invest In
Feilding is a growing rural servicing town and is becoming the rural capital of the lower North Island. It is also a country town alternative to living in Palmerston North, and attracts many Ohakea based families. Feilding residents have a short, easy and pleasant commute to the city through picturesque countryside, and have access to all the city facilities, but also the ability to escape to the family friendly Feilding with no traffic lights or parking meters.
Feilding forms part of the Manawatu market with population of around 110,000, which is a strength compared to other “stand alone” small towns which are more vulnerable. Feilding and Palmerston North have shown growth whereas several districts have shown a population decline.
We have a positive Council that has seen the merit in investing in improvements that have attracted people to live, and establish businesses, in Feilding. We also have a strong community, with many positive and supportive organizations. Our schools are great, as are our community, sporting, cultural and leisure organizations, with Manfeild Park being the jewel in the crown.Our real estate prices are affordable compared to most of NZ, and often the returns are better because of our affordable values.
We don’t have student flats, so repairs and maintenance expenses are often lower. There is a good steady demand from Tenants. Astute Buyers buy at the bottom of the real estate cycle which is now!
